Yes, it's true. It's been a while since we've updated. We don't have any cute kids of our own to take pictures of & post, so I thought I would post a picture of Callie. I couldn't resist. Her hands were so cute when she was sleeping. She's saying a little prayer. I guess our lives are pretty boring right now. We are pretty busy with work & school (for Wade). I took my water aerobics certification about a month ago & got hired the next week right on the spot without even having my test results in. Luckily the results came in two weeks later with a passing score. So now I teach two classes & start work at 5:3o in the morning. Yes I am crazy. It's hard to get up sometimes but I am actually really enjoying it. It's pretty nice to get paid to work out & socialize!
Oh, how Wade's hair changes with the seasons.

This picture of my new haircut is probably about a month old, but for those who have not seen me have probably not heard of my nightmare haircut story. Let me just start out with saying I am never going to a beauty school to get my hair cut again. Lesson learned. Well I went in to dye my hair & while I was there I thought 'hey, I am sick of my hair, why don't I get some cute layers.' Well she went a little crazy with the razor, but I thought she knew what she was doing. Well the store closed & the supervisor came by & checked off my hair saying how cute it looked. I came home thinking I had a cute new haircut, but had a rude awakening when I walked past Wade & he saw the back of my hair. It either looked like a little kid got a hold of some scissors & went crazy on my hair or a weed whacker ran over my head. To try to give you the visual, the left back side of my hair had long layers & the right side of my hair had short layers. The right side looked like I had a mullet, with a huge gap between my top layer & bottom layer. It gets worse. I lifted up that layer & found shorter layers underneath that layer. If you don't know, layers are not suppose to be shorter underneath. I thought there was no hope left for fixing my hair & there was no way I was going back to the beauty school to have the supervisor who checked it off to fix my 'cute haircut.' So I went to get it fixed, hoping they could fix it without shaving all my hair off. So this is the end result. I should have taken a before picture to threaten the beauty school with but I couldn't even stand to look at it.

I like your hair now, you look sophisticated. The before sounds a little like Wades haircut under your picture, scary. Teaching water aerobics sound like fun, and you get paid for it.

Your hair is really cute. I've never seen your hair so short before. You wear short hair well. Good thing you had a bad hair cut so you could find out how cute you are with short hair. But, I am glad you didn't have to shave you head. I don't think anyone wears a shaved head well.

Aahh! I had a similar experience at the beauty school in Provo when we were there and I vowed never to return, I didn't even cut my hair for a year because I was so scared and my hair wasn't really long enough to cut anyway, so I feel your pain. I think the short hair looks good on you.
