Update

Let’s see, what have we been up to?! Gosh not too much. Wade just started school again at UVSC and is busy, busy. Working full time at Utah Valley Medical Center as a Guest House coordinator and going to school full time at UVSC studying Exercise Science. Wade also just got his hunters safety permit & certification and is very exciting to go hunting with his brothers.

As for me, I am still working at Heritage and am enjoying working there. A couple of weeks ago with work we hiked Mt. Timpanogos. It took us 10 hours! That was a long day! It wasn’t too bad going up; coming down really killed my body. It was a very beautiful hike; the view was amazing at the saddle, seeing all of Utah Valley. We also saw a Moose pretty close to the trail & a Mountain goat at the top waiting for us. (I’ll post some pictures of the hike soon.) Wade is pretty jealous of all the fun things I do with work. I don’t know if I would call hiking 10 hours fun. As we were hiking up the trail, there were tons of people running (trail runners) up to the top and back down. I think running 14 miles on flat ground would be hard enough, but up a mountain, CRAZY!

I am also taking two institute classes: Book of Mormon & World Religions. I am really enjoying those classes especially World Religions. It is very interesting learning about other religions and seeing some similarities between our church and other religions. I am also studying for a water aerobic certification so I can teach water aerobics. As like the rest of the country, I am also obsessed with the Twilight series. I could not put the books down. Wade wasn’t too happy about my obsession due to the fact that he was neglected and I couldn’t stop talking about Edward! I don’t feel to bad after my visiting teachers came over last night & said the exact same thing and one of them is the bishop’s wife.

What else have we been up to this summer?! We have traveled back & forth to St. George a million times for baby births & baby blessings and are thinking about buying a vacation home there! Not really, but it would be nice in the winter. Michael, Katie, & family came up last weekend and stayed with us for a night. It was fun to see them. Abbey & Cameron were so cute, Abbey with her cute little pigtails & chicken pouts & Cameron with his huge blue eyes & huge smile. So cute! Well I think that is all for now.

So, I'm still obsessed with Twilight. Last night I had Michael download all the playlists for the books. He was very good about it. We were up til 1:30 trying to find all the songs but it was worth it. The music is very good! And we did it together so there was no time spent neglecting him. He's been so good about the whole obsession I have. He's even read the books just so I will have somone to talk to about them. I have now read them 3 times!! Yikes! I can't stop thinking about them.
